Samuel Uloko and his wife Deborah have been married for a short time, and Governor Samuel Ortom has urged them to uphold their vows in order to draw God’s blessings.
When Governor Ortom and other national leaders gathered to witness the couple’s holy nuptials on December 17, 2022, Governor Ortom offered the invocation.
The Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Glory Dome, FCT Abuja, served as the venue for the wedding.
The bride, Barrister Deborah, is the daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche, General Overseer of the Dunamis International Gospel Center.
Governor Ortom urged the pair to live up to their marriage vows during his remarks at the reception, saying that if they did, God’s blessings would stay on them and their union would be successful.
Governor Ortom, who served as the event’s Chief Host, praised the couple’s parents in particular for raising their kids in a godly manner.
He also praised the pair for respecting their parents and for acting morally by approaching God to start their marriage.
In a previous address, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, a former president of Nigeria who was also there, praised the parents of the couple for their ministry, which he admitted had a great influence on the lives of many people.
The former further asked the newlyweds to set a positive example for their family and to bless others.
The State’s Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu, praised the couple for their brave decision to enter the marriage ceremony and urged them to treat one another with respect in order to have a happy marriage.
Comrade Abba Moro, a senator for Benue South, advised the newlyweds to remain devoted to one another and noted that marriages thrive when they are based on trust.
Pastor Isaac Oyedepo of Living Faith Church previously urged the new couple in a sermon on the theme “Marriage is Beautiful” to engage in education, spirituality, and intimacy in order to create and maintain a successful marital relationship.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, prayed for the newlyweds.
