Donald Trump shot at campaign rally

Former United States President Donald Trump was hurriedly taken from the stage after sustaining gunshot wound at a campaign rally.

The incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, one of the critical states for electoral college votes, occurred on Saturday evening. Multiple gunshots were heard at the campaign event.

Mr Trump’s head appeared covered in blood and he held his ear and neck. The Secret Service officers quickly intervened to thrush the former president away.

Mr Trump has been leading the poll and is widely seen as favourite to defeat incumbent Joe Biden at the presidential election coming up on November 5.
