In the upcoming Premier League match against Liverpool at Anfield, Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is likely to be without their key defender, William Saliba.
Despite his impressive performance this season and his strong partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes in the Gunners’ defence, the Frenchman has missed the last two games due to a back injury sustained during the UEFA Europa League defeat to Sporting Lisbon in March.
Unfortunately, Saliba has not yet trained with the first team since the incident, and his recovery is taking longer than expected, as reported by The Sun.
As a result, Rob Holding has filled in as his replacement, but Arteta expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s defence after their win against Crystal Palace before the international break.
