Former Aston Villa star, Gabriel Agbonlahor has warned Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane against joining Manchester United in the summer.
Agbonlahor believes Kane would not win a trophy if he joins Man United, adding that he should instead remain at Tottenham.
Kane has been linked with a move to Man United in the summer as the Red Devils seek to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
“I think Harry Kane wants to win trophies, that is for sure. But he is not getting any younger and he is not going to be able to achieve that at Manchester United any time soon. I do feel like that would be a sideways move. Yes, Man United have got all this history – but that is not going to win you titles at the end of the day.”
“I think he has a more chance of winning a trophy at Tottenham than at Man United, to be honest. If he wants to win silverware, I think he’s better off leaving to a club guaranteed to get that success,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
