Former Konga CEO Nick Imudia Commits Suicide

Nick Imudia, Former CEO of Konga, Passes Away

Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Konga, one of Nigeria’s leading e-commerce giants, has committed suicide.

Imudia, who was serving as the CEO of D.light, a company renowned for its innovations in residential solar energy solutions and transformational household products, took his own life on the night of Tuesday, June 25.

Imudia ended his life by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

Before his death, he called his brother in the US to give instructions on how to distribute his wealth and called his daughter to tell her that she would always be able to see him when she looked up at the sky. The cause of Imudia’s death is not yet known, and those close to him are in shock.

His unexpected death has shocked many, leaving friends, family, and colleagues in deep mourning.
