PulseNets reports that the Google Internship Program aligns with Google’s philosophy of starting with technology and ending with the user, seamlessly integrating both through innovative approaches.
Google LLC, an American multinational technology giant, specializes in Internet-related services and products, ranging from online advertising technologies and search engines to cloud computing, software, and hardware.
PulseNets learned that Google is regarded as one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Amazon, Apple, and Facebook. Founded in September 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin during their time as Ph.D students at Stanford University in California, The Tech Giant has grown exponentially since its inception, leading to a plethora of products, acquisitions, and partnerships that extend beyond its original offerings.
Requirements
To qualify for the internship, applicants must:
- Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Linguistics
- Statistics
- Biostatistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Operations Research
- Economics
- Natural Sciences, or a related technical discipline
Detailed responsibilities and projects will be tailored to each applicant’s educational background, interests, and skill set.

Duration and Reward
The internship program spans multiple global locations and lasts for three to six months or more. Interns can expect a stipend ranging from $1,000 to $3,300 and will receive a certificate upon completion of the program.
