Hilda Baci officially received her plaque from Guinness World Records (Video)

I spent N80 million for my cookathon — Hilda Baci

Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records (GWR) as the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. She joyfully shared this achievement in an Instagram post on Monday, accompanied by a video of her receiving the prestigious GWR plaque from a dispatch rider.

Following her remarkable feat, Baci had been eagerly awaiting confirmation from GWR, and last Tuesday, the announcement was finally made, solidifying her position as the new record holder.

According to the guidelines for such records, participants are allowed a five-minute rest break for every continuous hour of activity. These rest breaks can be accumulated if not taken, providing the only opportunities for Hilda to use the bathroom or sleep during her marathon cooking attempt.
