I Won’t Leave My New Marriage, Woman Who Married Her Daughter’s Boyfriend vows

Malama Khadija, a mother from Kano State who wed the fiance of her daughter, has vowed that she won’t change her mind regardless of what people think. She claims that she is fine with whatever opinion people have of her behavior because she hasn’t offended the Almighty God.

According to City & Crime, the story of Khadija’s behavior has sparked discussion in Kano. Many people have questioned whether it is true, and others have questioned whether the marriage is permissible under Islamic law.

Keep in mind that Khadija claimed she left her first marriage to wed her daughter’s lover in an effort to protect both her and her daughter from losing the attractive man.

In response to the uproar in her family and the state, Khadija stated that she had no regrets.

She said, “I wonder why people are after my marriage.” I made the decision myself. Nobody forced me to go. My daughter rejected the man, and I felt like we couldn’t lose him. We are happily married, and I am enjoying my stay with him.

“I want people to know that I asked clerics about the legitimacy of this marriage, and they said there is no problem with that.” So, I will not reverse this marriage. “I am there to stay; I don’t need any advice.”

In response to the charge against Hisbah Commandant of Rano LGA, Khadija stated that he did not compel her to marry.

The state’s Hisbah command, on the other hand, has formed a committee to look into the subject.
