Israeli and Hamas Delegations Head to Qatar Amid Stalled Hostage-Ceasefire Talks

PulseNets has learned that an Israeli delegation comprising “working-level” negotiators has departed for Qatar to engage in ongoing discussions on a potential hostage-ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This development was initially reported by Channel 12.

Sources told PulseNets that the delegation’s departure was sanctioned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who formally announced the decision on Thursday.

Meanwhile, representatives of Hamas are expected to arrive in Doha to continue the negotiations. However, PulseNets has learnt that recent updates suggest the talks have reached a stalemate, raising questions about the progress toward securing hostages’ release and reaching broader ceasefire agreements.

The discussions, facilitated by Qatari mediators, form part of a broader international initiative aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region while ensuring humanitarian aid reaches affected populations.
