Kuje terrorists attack: ADC presidential candidate vow to expose more details

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Action Democratic Congress, Mr Dumebi Kachikwu has vowed to speak more on the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Centre, where scores of terrorists were released.

The candidate said, he haD summoned an emergency NEC, BOT meeting of his party, stating that the party was worried by the spate of killings in the country, and the recent attack on the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Centre.

He described the attack as an unfortunate thing that must not be swept under the carpet.

In a statement which he signed and made available to DAILY POST on Tuesday in Abuja, the politician said he would give a state of the Nation Address, citing the position of the African Democratic Congress.

“I am expected to speak on the release of terrorists from Kuje prison during an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) and Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting already summoned by the ADC.

“The meeting was called at my instance which will hold on Tuesday, 12th of July 2022, at 7pm.

“I will use the opportunity to speak to Nigerians on burning national issues”, Kachikwu added.

“The State of the Nation Address will be streamed live on some national broadcast stations and key social media channels.”

Mr Kachikwu is known to be vocal on national issues and has many times, called on President Buhari to resign over his inability to curb worsening insecurity in the country.
