The Lagos State Government has requested that trailers and tankers vacate the Apapa Oshodi expressway immediately.
Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser on Transportation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the announcement via a statement released today.
He said the articulated vehicles have persistently obstructed traffic flow along the Apapa Oshodi expressway, causing substantial disruptions and inconvenience to commuters.
According to him, the directive is a step toward alleviating congestion and enhancing road accessibility for residents.

He added that the move is to ensure smoother commuting experiences for all road users in Lagos.
