Tragic Passing of Lokoja Local Government Council Chairman in Kogi State
In a saddening turn of events, Hon. Mohammed D Mohammed, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council in Kogi State, has passed away. The reported cause of his untimely demise is high blood pressure, with the late politician confirmed dead in the early hours of Friday.
Hon. Mohammed’s final public appearance was at the All Progressives Congress (APC) meeting held at the state government house, preceding the gubernatorial election in Kogi State scheduled for Saturday.
PulseNets has learned that the late council chairman will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions following the Jamma’at prayer.
