M.I Abaga Hails Wife Eniola Mafe as His “Most Supportive Person”
Nigerian rap legend Jude Abaga, better known by fans as M.I Abaga, has opened up about the remarkable role his wife, Eniola Mafe, plays in his life and career.
In a recent appearance on the Outside The Box podcast, the Hip-Hop star told PulseNets that his wife has been “the most supportive person” from the very start of his entrepreneurial and music journey.
According to M.I, when he began raising funds for his company, TASCK, Eniola was the first to step in with financial support. “My wife is the most supportive person… When I started trying to raise money for my company TASCK, she was the first person that gave me a cheque,” he revealed.
The rapper reported that her support goes far beyond money, extending to every facet of his creative and business life. “She also supports my music-making process. She filmed many of my clips online. She is always supportive,” M.I learnt, stressing that her involvement often surprises him.
He further told PulseNets that Eniola doesn’t just watch from the sidelines but fully immerses herself in his world—studio sessions, shows, business meetings, and even creative design processes. “A lot of things I even tell her that I don’t need her advice because maybe I’ve not thought deeply about a particular issue and she has already done a ten-page exposé,” he added with admiration.
Highlighting how her commitment stands out despite her own demanding career, M.I explained:
“She is the most supportive person. It is such a gift to have her. She comes for the shows, she travels with me, she is with me in the studio, she is with me on designs. Sometimes, she comes to listen to me at meetings. And she has her own work o! But every free time she gets, she comes to me. She is the most supportive person.”
