Man Treks From Makurdi to Abuja For Tinubu

A graduate of Benue State University, David Nyor, has achieved his goal of trekking from Makurdi to Abuja to celebrate President Bola Tinubu.

Nyor, who trekked from Makurdi for four days, arrived at the national headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday.

The 30-years-old who coordinates the Benue Youth Volunteers, began his journey on May 29, the same day Tinubu was sworn-in.

Dressed in a white T-Shirt on black joggers and a black cap, the visibly fatigued young man made his way to the near-empty party secretariat at about 2.30 pm to announce his arrival.

“I thought it was going to be easy but when I started my legs were paining me. That was when I knew that trekking that far is not easy but because of the promise I made to the people, I kept on trekking,” he said.

Nyor, who hails from Konshisha Local Government Area, said he vowed to trek in honour of the former governor of Lagos if he won the poll and is eventually sworn-in as the president.
