Transfer: Mbappe set to finally join Real Madrid from PSG

It's not Kylian Saint-Germain — Mbappe

Real Madrid is ready to bid for Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe this summer, ESPN reports.

Mbappe’s future is uncertain once again after he wrote to the Ligue 1 champions to inform them that he would not be extending his deal by another year.

This means his current contract would be up in June 2024.

PSG would be willing to listen to bids of around €150 million for Mbappe this summer to avoid losing him for free a year later.

Madrid is now on alert, as they look to replace Karim Benzema, who has since joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad.

Their original plan was to sign a backup for Benzema, before pushing for Mbappe or Erling Haaland in 2024.
