Popular comedian and philanthropist, Mc Monica (Edeh Sylvester Chisom), recently completed his 22nd school visit as part of his ongoing “Mission 36” initiative. This ambitious project aims to support education across all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory.
Driven by his own experience as the first graduate in his family, Mc Monica launched Mission 36 to provide essential resources like food, books, uniforms, and footwear to students in need. Through his foundation, the Edeh Sylvester Chisom Foundation, he directly reaches students and empowers them to pursue their education.
“I promised God if I ever made it, I would give back to education massively,” said Mc Monica, who is also a successful businessman and the owner of Dimswear branding company. This dedication to education and community upliftment has earned him the nicknames “Dchildrensdadi”.
Monica’s journey began in comedy in 2015, culminating in the launch of his popular show, STARCHURTEETH, in 2016. He has since performed on major Nigerian platforms like Nite of a Thousand Laughs and Ajebo Unleashed, and even taken his talent international with shows in Ghana and London.
