New Naira notes will be issued by CBN in December
New Nigerian naira notes will be released, according to the Central Bank of Nigeria, before the year is through.
The redesigned Naira notes will be in circulation starting on December 15, 2022.
At a news conference on Wednesday, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele revealed this.
The N200, N500, and N1000 notes will be part of the new currency, according to the head of Apex Bank.
He suggested that Nigerians visit their local banks to swap their old notes for new ones.
