Nnamdi Kanu Demands End to Monday Sit-At-Homes, Citing Reasons

Federal High Court rejects Nnamdi Kanu’s bail request, denies transfer to Kuje prison

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called for an end to the Monday sit-at-homes in the southeastern region.

PulseNets reports that Kanu speaking through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), said he does not believe in the sit-at-home and that it is counterproductive.

He said that the sit-at-homes are crippling the social, economic, cultural, and political life of the people, and that they are putting the Igbo under psychological, physical, and mental torture.

“I am now re-echoing again and again what Nnamdi Kanu told me,” he said.
