An Ondo-based chef, Adeoye Adeyolu Blessing, Chef Deo has kickstarted her mission to break the world record for the longest cooking time by an individual title currently held by Chef Hilda Baci.
PulseNets recalls that Damilola Adeparusi, a 300 level student of the Federal University, Oye, recently attempted to break Baci’s 93-hour record when she reportedly prepared some local dishes for 120-hours.
Her record was, however, not recognised by the Guinness World Record.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians have been streaming live videos of the Ondo chef’s 150-hour cook-a-ton to see how far she can go in breaking Hilda’s record.
,Despite the controversy trailing her mission, the chef has remained determined to break the record as she claimed to have “prepared intensely” for the cook-a-thon.

Hilda Baci, a chef from Akwa Ibom, holds the record for the longest cooking marathon, and recently got her certification from the Guinness World Record having cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes.
