Oyo reconstitutes task force on waste management

Makinde enacts legislation converting Oyo College to a University

The waste management task committee for Oyo State has been established by Governor Seyi Makinde.

The task force’s responsibility is to make sure the state’s necessary environmental regulations are followed.

On Sunday, Makinde made this declaration.

He gave the group’s members orders to carry out their responsibilities with unwavering devotion to the state.

Members of the newly reconstituted body were chastised to go to work by the State Government’s Secretary, Olubamiwo Adeosun, in a statement made available to PulseNets.

The Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Intervention, Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo, will serve as the task force’s chair.

The former chairman of the Waste Management task force, Mr. Francis Ojomo, Mr. Ademola Aderinto, who is the governor’s special assistant for the environment, Miss Ololade Ajibola, the special assistant for special duties, and Mr. Ayoade Adekola are also members of the new task force.

Adeosun further stated that the task force’s assignment is effective right away.
