Paris 2024 Olympics — Favour Ofili failed to make it to the podium after finishing in sixth place in the women’s 200m final.
The 21-year-old bowed to pressure in the race, failing to fulfil expectations.
Ofili will now concentrate on the women’s 4x100m relay.
Team Nigeria also suffered another disappointment with Blessing Oborodudu losing to Japan’s Nonoka Ozaki in the bronze medal bout.

Oborodudu lost the women’s freestyle 68kg bout 3-0.
She won silver three years ago in Tokyo.
