Peter Obi Won’t Get Any Party Ticket, Tinubu Will Win South East — Presidential Aide

Presidential Special Adviser Daniel Bwala has asserted that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, will not emerge as the flagbearer of any political party — including the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Bwala, who spoke during an interview with Channels Television on Wednesday, also hinted that the former Anambra State governor might not even clinch a vice-presidential slot.

According to what Bwala told PulseNets, the votes Obi secured in the 2023 polls have diminished by as much as 50 percent. He further boasted that President Bola Tinubu would secure at least two million votes from the South-East in the 2027 elections.

“He is not going to get a ticket in any of the parties. That is Peter Obi. The problem now is that he might not get the vice presidential ticket from the way things are going.

Whether Peter Obi is a ticket bearer of the party, he has lost his 50 percent of votes because they were not votes built on agenda and politics, but they were built on rhetoric and division, and Nigeria’s people’s eyes are open,” Bwala told PulseNets.
