Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, claimed to have finished his restructuring plan for Nigeria.
If he were elected, the former vice president promised that the nation would be reconstructed within six months.
At the PDP Presidential Diaspora Campaign Grand Finale in Abuja on Friday, he provided the guarantee, according to NAN.
Former National Chairman Okwesilieze Nwodo served as Atiku’s representative. Atiku stated that adequate study on restructuring had been completed.
Nwodo is the PDP residential Campaign Council’s deputy director of research and strategy (PCC).
According to Atiku, Nigeria would be better off if each area had authority over its natural resources.
When regions owned their resources, socioeconomic advancements were already in place, the flagbearer recounted.
“Talking about restructuring by Executive Order, in the first six months, this country will not be what you are seeing today.
“This has been worked out and I’m just waiting to be sworn in on May 29 and the plans will be rolled out,” he said.
