Presidential tribunal: Northern leaders may work against you if rerun is declared — Ohanaeze warns Tinubu

Era of exporting raw gold, lithium, others gone for good — Tinubu

As the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal prepares to announce its verdict on the outcome of the 2023 poll, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, has issued a warning to President Bola Tinubu.

Ohanaeze warned that the North might likely work against Tinubu if the tribunal orders a rerun.

Factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said Northern leaders are dissatisfied with the President over his leadership style and appointments.

A statement by Isiguzoro reads partly: “The Northern leadership and political leaders are dissatisfied with Tinubu’s Presidency and are waiting patiently for the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal verdict on September 16th, 2023, to know their line of action.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo said that the Northern leadership shut down President Tinubu’s led Ecowas planned invasion of Niger Republic through the Northern Senators, the Traditional Rulers, and their Elder statesmen who are unhappy with the President’s style of leadership and key appointments to Southwest.
