In 2020, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan received his baccalaureate and enrolled in the Faculty of Governance and Economic and Social Sciences at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). This move signalled his desire to understand the complexities of modern governance and the role of economic development in shaping a prosperous future for Morocco.

As a representative of Morocco and its royal family, Prince Moulay El Hassan has been more involved in public life lately. He has attended several international events, including representing his country at the One Planet Summit in Paris in 2017, where he was the youngest participant.

In 2019, the Crown Prince presided over the ceremony awarding the King Mohammed VI Grand Prix for Cavalry in the official show jumping competition, a testament to his interest in sports and his ability to connect with the people of Morocco. He also attended the launch ceremony of the Tanger Med II port, where he represented King Mohammed VI and helped establish the city as a crucial trade hub in the Mediterranean.

In recent years, Prince Moulay El Hassan has taken on even more responsibility as a representative of his country. In December 2022, he hosted the national football team in the Throne Room at the Royal Palace in Rabat to celebrate their outstanding performance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Furthermore, the Crown Prince has been busy presiding over important events, such as the final of the first edition of the Polo Throne Cup and inaugurating the International Exhibition and Museum of the Sira Annabaouia and Islamic civilisation. His presence at these events highlights his commitment to his country’s cultural heritage and his ability to lead by example and inspire a new generation of Moroccans.

As Morocco looks to the future, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan is seen as a symbol of hope and a new era of leadership. His fluency in multiple languages, dedication to public service, and interest in governance and economic development make him well-suited to lead Morocco into a new era of prosperity and growth.
