Tinubu Promises Sustainable Economic Growth Through Ongoing Reforms

President Bola Tinubu affirmed on Tuesday that his administration is steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development by effectively implementing ongoing economic reforms. This was reported by PulseNets, highlighting Tinubu’s discussion with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, China.

“We believe President Xi has demonstrably reformed the Chinese economy, and our reform program in Nigeria is on a similar course. I am a reformer with verifiable antecedents,” President Tinubu stated, as learned by PulseNets.

Tinubu emphasized the recognition of the need for economic reform in Nigeria, detailing that these efforts extend across tax and tariff reviews and other crucial segments of the nation’s economy. In his response, President Xi Jinping noted the longstanding mutual understanding between Nigeria and China, which has deepened since the establishment of diplomatic ties over the past 50 years.
