The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is preparing to meet with the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the leadership of the coming 10th National Assembly.
PulseNets learnt that the meeting would take a position to avert a repeat of the 2015 situation that produced Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara as Senate President and House of Representatives Speaker, respectively.
This newspaper had earlier reported that Tinubu will return to Abuja today (Monday) after weeks of vacation in France.
This update was disclosed by Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity of the Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Campaign Organisation.
Tinubu had been out of Nigeria since March.

A high-ranking member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, who craved anonymity, said: “He (Tinubu) will arrive on Monday afternoon and also be meeting with the party soon to discuss the leadership of the National Assembly.”
The APC Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, also confirmed that the NWC meeting may take place this week.
“We are expecting the President-elect to arrive on Monday. I may not be sure of the exact date, but I think the NWC meeting will also take place this week after everybody must have resumed from the holiday break and their trip from Umrah,” Ibrahim said.
