Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s only two options have been revealed amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo has already told Man United that he wants to leave the club this summer after their failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, as well as their lack of ambition in the transfer market.
The Portugal captain is keen to play in the Champions League next season and his agent Jorge Mendes has been talking to several top European clubs, including Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, to sign his client.
However, following weeks of rumours, it seems as though Ronaldo may only have only two options left on the table this summer.
According to L’Equipe, “Ronaldo will either move to Atletico Madrid or stay at Manchester United this summer,” ahead of the upcoming new season.
The report added that the latter is unlikely because of how Mendes would interpret having been unable to find his client a Champions League club.
