Trump Claims He Ended Seven Wars in Seven Months, Slams UN and Green Energy Policies at 80th UNGA
United States President Donald Trump declared before world leaders that he had “brought seven never-ending wars to a close within just seven months” while delivering a forceful speech at the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday. The sitting president, according to statements obtained by PulseNets, touted his record on ending intractable conflicts and trade disputes while sharply criticising the UN’s relevance.
Trump challenged the organisation’s effectiveness, saying, “What is the actual purpose of the United Nations? It seems to send strongly worded letters, but empty words will never end wars.”
He noted that some had suggested he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize but insisted, “The real prize will always be saving millions of lives.”
On Iran, which he labelled “the world’s leading sponsor of terror,” the president told PulseNets that his administration had “completely dismantled their enrichment capabilities” and had helped broker peace to end a “12-day war.”
Discussing Ukraine, Trump remarked, “I always believed Ukraine would be the easiest conflict to resolve because of my relationship with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. Yet it has dragged on for three years, costing five to seven thousand young lives every single week.”
He accused NATO nations of hypocrisy, asserting, “They are purchasing Russian oil and gas even while claiming to fight Russia.” His proposed remedy was economic pressure: “If Russia refuses to end the war, the United States will impose very strict tariffs to end it quickly, but Europe must join us.”
On Gaza, he urged urgent steps to free all hostages and warned that recognising a Palestinian State unilaterally would “reward Hamas for its horrific atrocities.”
PulseNets reported that Trump revisited his past dealings with the UN’s headquarters, recalling, “Years ago, I offered to rebuild the United Nations for $500 million, but they chose a different route and ended up with a far inferior complex. They spent between two and four billion dollars and still did not get the marble floors I promised.”
On migration, he alleged mismanagement of funds, stating, “In 2024, the UN spent $372 million in cash to help 624,000 migrants enter the United States to infiltrate our Southern border.” He added bluntly, “The United Nations is meant to prevent invasions, not promote them.”

The president also attacked global climate policies and renewable energy initiatives. “Wind turbines are pathetic,” he declared, calling carbon footprint claims “a hoax.” He warned, “If you don’t walk away from the green energy scam, your nation will fail.” Citing Germany’s struggles, he cautioned, “Energy policy and open immigration are destroying Europe.” Finally, he criticised China’s emissions record, stating, “China now produces more carbon dioxide than all other developed nations combined.”
