U23 AFCON qualifier: Musa has promised the Olympic Eagles N500,000 for each goal scored against Tanzania

Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, promised the Olympic Eagles N500,000 for each goal they scored against Tanzania.

On Saturday, the second leg of the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifications will pit the Olympic Eagles against the Serengeti Boys.

The game is scheduled to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan.

The first leg of the match was played last weekend at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, where Salisu Yusuf’s team was held to a 1-1 tie.

Musa called the players from his base in Turkey on Friday morning, according to PulseNets.

The overall winners will face either Uganda or Guinea in the final round of qualifiers.

The U-23 AFCON, which Morocco will host in November 2023, will act as a qualifier for the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
