University of Port Harcourt VC Commends Partnership with Amotoi Global Services Limited

Prof. Owunari Georgewill, Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport), Rivers State, recently paid a scheduled visit to Barr. Amunaboye Clement, Managing Director/CEO of Amotoi Global Services Limited. The purpose of the visit was to express appreciation for the collaborative relationship between the educational institution and the energy company.

During the visit, Prof. Owunari disclosed that Amotoi Global Services Limited has been instrumental in supporting Uniport students by providing school fees and stipends to 50 students in the current academic session. Additionally, the company has been sponsoring entrepreneurship competitions and workshops, contributing to the holistic development of students.

The VC commended Barr. Clement, his wife, and the firm’s board members for their commitment to supporting higher education through their partnership with the institution. He expressed gratitude for their continued support and emphasized the importance of such collaborations in advancing the university’s mission.

“We met with Barr. Amunaboye Clement, CEO/MD of Amotoi Global Services Ltd a strategic partner of the University of Port Harcourt who currently has scholars who have their school charges paid in addition to stipends given to the scholars. Entrepreneurship competitions sponsored and winners taking home awesome prizes.

“We held very fruitful discussions with further collaborative activities to be rolled out soon. We commended our strategic partner and his dear wife and board members for their commitment to supporting higher education through partnership with the University of Port Harcourt

In response, Barr. Clement expressed profound gratitude to the VC for the visit, underscoring the importance of the partnership between Amotoi and Uniport. He reiterated his commitment to furthering the collaboration by extending scholarships and promoting entrepreneurial skills among students. Barr. Clement also hinted at the company’s plan to expand its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to include infrastructural development in the near future.

Furthermore, Barr. Clement lauded Prof. Owunari’s leadership qualities and acknowledged his pivotal role in the success of the company’s strategic partnership endeavors. He commended the VC for maintaining the high standards of Uniport, citing the recent Nigerian University Ranking by uniRank, where Uniport topped the list of 160 tertiary institutions, as evidence of Prof. Owunari’s purposeful leadership and consistent efforts for the school’s success.

Their presence underscored the significance of the partnership between Uniport and Amotoi Global Services Limited in promoting educational excellence and fostering entrepreneurial development.
