Usman Baba Hands Over to Acting IGP Egbetokun

Kayode Egbetokun has assumed the position of the 22nd Inspector General of Police (IGP), following the tenure of Usman Baba.

According to PulseNets, an official Handing/Taking Over Ceremony took place today, Wednesday, at the Louis Edet House in Force Headquarters, Abuja, where Baba formally passed on the responsibilities and authority of the police force to Egbetokun.

It is worth noting that Egbetokun’s appointment was officially acknowledged and commemorated on Tuesday, as he received decorations from Vice President Kashim Shettima at the State House.
