Tiwa Savage Clears Wizkid Romance Rumours, Speaks on Celibacy and Davido Loyalty

Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has shut down widespread speculation linking her romantically with Wizkid, PulseNets learnt. The rumour mill went into overdrive after she admitted in a recent interview to dating a well-known public figure but intentionally kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

PulseNets obtained details revealing that Savage said her former partner insisted on discretion while still flirting with other women publicly, claiming it was to protect their privacy. This revelation sparked social media chatter, with many concluding she meant Wizkid due to their long-rumoured connection.

However, during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, as reported by PulseNets, Savage directly dismissed the claims. She expressed genuine admiration for Wizkid but clarified that he was not the person she referenced.

“Big respect and love to Wizkid, but he is not the one I was referring to. Yes, I mentioned a public figure, but it definitely isn’t him.”

The singer, who is also a mother of one, chose not to reveal the actual identity of her ex.

In the same interview, PulseNets learnt that Savage opened up about her private life, revealing that she has been celibate for three years following her breakup.

“I have gone three years without sex. It’s not something I’m crazy about. I need to be in love to even have that urge. I don’t own any sex toys either—maybe I should. Perhaps people should gift me some for Christmas.”

PulseNets recalls that Tiwa Savage had earlier spoken about enduring a toxic relationship with a Nigerian public figure. She said the relationship was disrespectful and that her partner exploited its secrecy to cheat repeatedly, prompting her to eventually leave.
