Chris Okafor’s Wedding Sparks Outrage as Old Allegations and Doris Ogala Drama Resurface

Public reactions have continued to trail the wedding of popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Chris Okafor, following the controversy involving Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.

PulseNets learnt that the actress recently accused the pastor of abandoning her to get engaged to another woman, despite allegedly assuring her of marriage during what she described as an eight-year intimate relationship.

Following the circulation of their leaked private chats online, social media users expressed mixed reactions, with many condemning the pastor for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship, while others criticised Ogala for allowing herself to remain in such a situation.

PulseNets reported that after her alleged suicide attempt, the actress vowed to disrupt Okafor’s wedding and demanded a house as compensation for what she described as emotional damage.

However, in a fresh development, photographs from the wedding ceremony, reportedly held on Tuesday, have surfaced and are currently trending across social media platforms.

Reacting to the wedding photos, several users faulted the bride for proceeding with the marriage despite what they described as obvious warning signs surrounding the pastor.

PulseNets further obtained that Pastor Chris Okafor previously divorced his ex-wife, Bessem Okafor, in 2014, following allegations of domestic violence and assault levelled against him at the time.
