VeryDarkMan Alleges Attempt to Silence Critics After EFCC Invitation Over Petition
Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has disclosed that he received an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following a petition filed against him.
PulseNets learnt that the petition was submitted to the anti-graft agency by legal practitioner Blessing Agbomhere of Blessing Agbomhere & Partners.
According to information obtained by PulseNets, the petition called for a comprehensive investigation into the financial dealings, sponsorship arrangements, and funding sources linked to both VeryDarkMan and activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju.
Reacting to the development through his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan described the move as a deliberate effort aimed at silencing individuals who continue to criticize government actions and policies.
The social commentator further alleged that certain members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were behind the petition, claiming that legal mechanisms were being deployed to suppress public scrutiny of the administration’s performance.
Speaking via his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan wrote:
“They want to stop us from speaking against this evil government that has failed to protect the lives of Nigerians. So, they used their people to write petitions.”
