After Queen Elizabeth II passed away earlier this month, more information has become available.

The British monarch passed away at her Balmoral Castle residence on September 8 at the age of 96, bringing an end to her 70-year reign on the throne. Her death certificate, made public by the National Records of Scotland on September 29, stated that the cause of her demise was “old age.” She died around 3:10 p.m., according to her death certificate. Scottish Aberdeenshire local time.

Only a few hours earlier, Buckingham Palace had told the public that after an evaluation, doctors were “concerned” about the Queen’s health.

Fans from all around the world paid heartfelt respects to Her Majesty after hearing the news of her death, including her eldest son, now King Charles III, who ascended to the throne upon her demise.

“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” in a statement released by Buckingham Palace, the 73-year-old wrote.. “We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother.”

Together with her wife Camilla Parker Bowles, who is now Queen Consort, Queen Elizabeth II earlier expressed her hopes that King Charles III would be well received in his new position. In a statement on February 5, she said, “When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me.”

In June, as the Platinum Jubilee—a multi-day celebration to celebrate her service—came to an end, Queen Elizabeth II reminisced on her reign. She skipped a few planned events because she was “discomfortable.”

“When it comes to how you mark seventy years as your Queen there is no guidebook to follow,” She stated in a message posted on the royal family’s Instagram page on June 5, “While I may not have attended every event in person, my heart has been with you all; and I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family.”

The Queen has recently experienced a number of health issues, including a COVID-19 positive test in February.
