Brazil star Ronaldo Nazario has claimed that his team would win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar this year.

Ronaldo also endorsed France striker Kylian Mbappe to win the tournament’s best player award.

Argentina, France, Morocco, and Croatia are the four teams remaining in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finals.

On Tuesday, Argentina will face Croatia in the first semi-final match.

On Wednesday, France will face Morocco in the semi-finals.

Ronaldo, a two-time FIFA World Cup champion, told AS: “My prediction was always a Brazil-France final. Brazil is gone, and France right now is the big favourite.

“Mbappe is having a great World Cup. He has incredible physical and technical qualities. He may be the best player.

“He has natural talent and, at 23 years old, the experience of having won a World Cup.”
