Jorge Mendes, the former agent of Cristiano Ronaldo, called Real Madrid multiple times on a potential reunion, but was repeatedly ignored.

Ronaldo moved last month to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, although Menes, who arranged for the player’s return to Manchester United in 2021, was not involved.

As a substitute, the 37-year-old chose Ricardo Regufe to be his new boss.

Ronaldo stated that he got offers from the United States, Australia, Europe, and Brazil.

Real Madrid, though, is thought not to have been one of the parties involved because the Spanish powerhouses turned down Mendes’ calls as he pressed for a deal.

Mendes phoned Real Madrid “several times,” according to The Athletic, regarding a potential return.

The La Liga team, where Ronaldo won four Champions League championships between 2014 and 2018, showed no interest in signing him last summer.

After Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League, Ronaldo made it plain that he wanted to leave the Premier League club, but no other team in the league moved forward.
